Brian Pugh

Brian Pugh is a Deep Learning Scientist at Geomagical Labs, where responsibilities include research and development of state-of-the-art neural networks for various applications such as monocular depth estimation and semantic segmentation, as well as the development of scalable machine learning infrastructure in the cloud. Previous experience includes a role as a Developer at Nano and a Master's Student in Computer Vision at Carnegie Mellon University, where foundational skills in the field were developed. Earlier work also involved internships at Geomagical Labs, the Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory as an Algorithm Engineer, and engineering roles at Corning Incorporated and Lutron Electronics. Brian Pugh holds a Master's degree in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
