Jan Muschiol

Jan Muschiol is a seasoned scientist specializing in biochemistry, with a robust educational background that includes a Dr. rer. nat. from Universität Greifswald. Jan has accumulated extensive experience in various scientific roles, currently serving as a Support Scientist and previously as a Staff Scientist at GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel since August 2020. Prior to this, Jan was a Postdoc at DTU Bioengineering and DTU Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from July 2018 to July 2020 and April 2016 to June 2018, respectively. Additional experience includes a stint as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Enzymicals AG in late 2015 and a PhD candidacy at Universität Greifswald from October 2012 to August 2015. Jan received a Diplom-Biochemiker degree from Universität Greifswald in 2012.
