Maria Scherr

Maria Scherr is currently serving as a Scientific Coordinator at GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel since September 2021. With extensive experience at Bayerischer Rundfunk since 2008, Maria has held multiple roles, including Projektingenieurin Strategie und Services focusing on organizational development, strategic management, process facilitation, change management, and leadership culture. Previous positions include Projektingenieurin for investment project management in audio/video and Systemingenieurin. Maria holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Development from TU Kaiserslautern, an MBA & Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, a Graduate Certificate in Global Technology Entrepreneurship from Grenoble Ecole de Management, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Media Technology from Deggendorf Institute of Technology.
