Andres Melo-Duque

Andres Melo-Duque is an experienced engineer specializing in geotechnics and ground improvement systems. Currently serving as an Area Engineer at Geopier since April 2019, Andres provides design support to Geopier's Latin American licensees while actively promoting the company’s systems at local engineering conferences. Prior roles include Project Engineer and Technical Manager at Grupo TDM, where Andres led technical support for engineering solutions and developed new projects in Colombia. Earlier experience as a Technical Chief Engineer involved coordinating geotechnical and pavement designs. Additionally, as a Design Engineer at Geotecnia y Cimentaciones, Andres gained expertise in slope stability analyses and foundation design. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a Civil Engineering degree from the same institution.
