Tsveta Petrova

Tsveta Petrova is a Political Science Consultant at Fitch Solutions since February 2023 and has been a faculty member at Columbia University in the City of New York's European Institute since August 2011, focusing on research methods, European politics, and human rights. Tsveta's expertise includes extensive data collection and analysis methodologies. The book "From Solidarity to Geopolitics: Support for Democracy Among Post-Communist States" was published by Cambridge University Press in 2014, with additional scholarly contributions to various prestigious journals and edited volumes. Tsveta has held positions at Avonhurst as a Data and Innovation Adviser, led the EG Labs Practice at Eurasia Group, and engaged in research at the National Endowment for Democracy, Harvard University, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Tsveta holds a PhD in Government, an MPA in International Development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University.
