Nico Meijering

Nico Meijering has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Nico started their career as an Engineer/Mate at Rederij Clipper Stad Amsterdam in 2004 and worked there until 2007. Nico then joined Fugro Marine Services BV as a Technical Superintendent from 2007 to 2010, and later became a Vessel/Technical Superintendent from 2010 to 2018. In 2018, they switched to Geoquip Marine Group and served as a Marine Manager until 2021, when they were promoted to Head of Marine Operations.

Nico Meijering attended RSG Sneek from 1994 to 2000 for their secondary education. Following that, from 2000 to 2001, they studied naval studies at the Koninklijk Instituut v/d Marine. Nico then pursued a degree in Maritime Officer at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2004.
