Ari Vanderwalde

Ari VanderWalde has extensive experience in the field of oncology and clinical trials. They currently hold the position of Global Head of Clinical Trials at Caris Life Sciences, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Clinical Development, Precision Oncology Alliance at Caris Life Sciences. They also have experience as a Professor at the University of Memphis School of Public Health, Research Faculty and Director of Research at West Cancer Center & Research Institute, and Senior Medical Director at George Clinical. They have held various roles in the medical field, including Medical Director of Precision Medicine at OneOncology, Medical Director at Clinical Trials Network of Tennessee (CTN2), and Medical Director at Vector Oncology. Additionally, they have worked at Amgen as a Medical Director and Clinical Research Senior Medical Scientist, and at City of Hope as a Fellow in Hematology/Oncology. They have contributed to the field through research and have held positions of leadership, such as Associate Vice Chancellor of Research and Associate Professor at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Ari VanderWalde completed their education history as follows:

- From 2000 to 2005, they attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and obtained an MD degree in Medicine.

- In the same period, they also studied at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, specializing in Health Care Policy and Management, and earned an MPH degree.

- Between 2001 and 2005, they pursued a degree in Bioethics/Medical Ethics at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving an MBioeth.

- Earlier, from 1996 to 2000, they achieved an AB in Biology with cum laude honors from Harvard University.

- Lastly, they completed their high school education at Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy, obtaining a high school diploma between 1984 and 1995.

In addition to their academic achievements, VanderWalde holds several certifications: a medical license from the State of Tennessee obtained in 2014, a Diplomate in Medical Oncology from the American Board of Internal Medicine received in December 2011, and a Diplomate in Internal Medicine from the same institution obtained in December 2008. Ari is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, although the specific date of attainment is not provided.
