Anna Pavlova has diverse work experience in the medical and research fields. Anna currently serves as the Medical Director at Orca Bio since April 2023 and previously held the position of Associate Medical Director from July 2022 to April 2023. Before that, Anna worked at Stanford University School of Medicine as a Clinical Trials Portfolio Manager from May 2021 to July 2022 and as a Scientist in Clinical and Translational research from July 2019 to May 2021. Anna has also been a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco, managing laboratory projects focused on oncological diseases and animal studies from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Anna was a PHD Student at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, conducting research on PET visualization and treatment of Ras-driven cancers from 2014 to 2018. Anna worked as a Visiting Researcher at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2015 to 2017, participating in various laboratory projects and supervising technicians. Anna has also gained experience as a Visiting PHD Student at the University of Groningen in 2015 and as an Attending Physician at the National Research Center for Hematology from 2013 to 2014, specializing in stem cell transplantation and clinical trials for hematological malignancies. Anna started their medical career as a Resident Physician at the National Research Center for Hematology from 2011 to 2013 and began their volunteering experience at the Institute of Gene Biology Russian Academy of Science from 2010 to 2011 and the Center of Family Planning and Reproduction from 2009 to 2010.
Anna Pavlova obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a residency program in Hematology-Oncology at the National Research Center for Hematology from 2011 to 2013. Anna earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Internal Medicine from the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov, where they studied from 2005 to 2011.
