Laura Marion

Laura Marion has over 18 years of professional experience in various industries. Laura began their career in 2003 as an Air Traffic Control Specialist with the United States Air Force. In 2009, they transitioned to ITT as an Air Traffic Control Specialist, where they were a front-line supervisor responsible for tower operations. In 2012, Laura joined Associated Physicians Group (APG) as a Certified Medical Assistant, where they maintained patient electronic health records and developed schedules for over 1000 patients across four facility locations. In 2013, they joined SuperiorSolutions as a Dispatch Coordinator, where they were the primary point of contact for all internal and external customer IT issues. In 2014, Laura moved to SAIC as an Engineering Technician, where they were responsible for 15 FTEs providing kitting services in support of a $17.5 million USMC Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) project. In 2015, they joined Geodesicx, Inc. as an Operations Analyst, where they provided project support to seven DoD projects by leveraging knowledge of DoD standards and regulations. In 2019, Laura began working for Akima Systems Engineering LLC as a Project Control Analyst and Truestone, LLC as a Management Analyst. Most recently, they have been the Program Management Office Lead at George Consulting, LTD since 2022.

Laura Marion has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the College of Charleston (2016-2019), an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Trident Technical College (2016), an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Medical/Clinical Assistant from Southwestern Illinois College (2011-2012), and a High School Diploma from Dr Phillips High School (2001).
