Ken Redford

Ken Redford is currently a trustee at George Fox University. Before that, they were the fabrication supervisor at Lambda Research Optics, Inc from January 2001 to October 2014. In their time as supervisor, Ken was able to enhance existing functionalities using Environment Analysis, and implement lean manufacturing processes. Ken also oversaw the performance and yield, fixed production issues, and increased parts per unit of raw material by 20%. Ken was responsible for work load status reports and providing accurate status updates to Leadership/Management. In spite of difficult economic conditions, Ken was able to facilitate a positive work environment by exhibiting production progress.

Ken Redford has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from George Fox University and Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. Ken also has certification in Simulink from MathWorks, SPIE PRESS in Optical Systems Design, TSI Incorporated in Laser Safety, CE-CERT from TSI Incorporated, and System Design from SPIE PRESS. Ken Redford has also completed coursework in Hazardous Material from University of Phoenix, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) from Lambda Research Optics, Inc, Management Skills Development from Lambda Research Optics, Inc, and Material Handling Equipment Safety from United Rental.
