Kyle Amsler

Kyle Amsler is an experienced Child Life Coordinator currently working at George Mark Children's House since August 2018, where responsibilities include providing assessments and interventions for patients with chronic and complex conditions. Previous experience includes roles as a Certified Child Life Specialist at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where Kyle utilized bilingual skills to prepare children for medical events and developed bereavement programs, and as a Child Life Extern and Practicum Student at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, focusing on psychosocial care and therapeutic activities. Additional experience includes coordinating health education programs for elementary school students with the Peace Corps and holding various roles that fostered healthy habits among children. Kyle holds a Master of Science in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Oregon.
