Kristen Wright

Kristen Wright is an accomplished higher education professional with extensive experience in community engagement, leadership development, and civic learning. Currently serving as the Director of the Office of Community Engagement and Civic Learning at George Mason University since August 2019, Kristen previously held positions at Johns Hopkins University as Associate Director for Leadership Development and Associate Director for SOURCE, where responsibilities included designing comprehensive leadership programs and managing service-learning initiatives. Earlier roles include Graduate Assistant at George Mason University, Director of the Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary Service, Conference Coordinator for the IMPACT Conference, and AmeriCorps VISTA/Bonner Leader Coordinator at the College of Charleston. Kristen holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Baldwin Wallace University, complemented by a program at Georgetown University focused on philanthropy and voluntary service.
