Massimiliano Albanese

Massimiliano Albanese currently serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing and holds multiple positions at George Mason University, including Associate Professor, Associate Chair for Research, and Associate Director of the Center for Secure Information Systems. Albanese is also a Consultant for MITRE and previously worked as a Faculty Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, focusing on human activity modeling and multimedia databases. Early career experiences include research and teaching roles at the University of Naples Federico II, where Albanese contributed to technology development for e-learning platforms and web-based information systems. Albanese earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
