Michele Song

Michele Song serves as the Assistant Director for Student Support and Respondent Services at George Mason University since May 2022, where responsibilities include supporting distressed students, conducting safety planning, providing confidential case management for Title IX respondents, and developing best practices for Respondent Services. Prior to this role, Michele worked as a Faculty Counselor at Montgomery College, offering one-on-one counseling and managing case referrals for holistic student support. Previous experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Academic Advising Assistant at The George Washington University School of Business, where Michele supported academic advising and student engagement, and completing a Mental Health Counseling Internship at Associated Clinical Services. Michele holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from Elon University.
