Patrick Dougherty

Patrick Dougherty, MLS, is a seasoned development research analyst with extensive experience in prospect identification and research. Currently serving as Senior Development Research Analyst at George Mason University since 2020, Patrick previously held positions at The Nature Conservancy, where responsibilities included managing prospect research efforts and leading proactive programs from 2013 to 2020. Prior roles at Wesleyan University from 2006 to 2012 involved identifying major gift prospects and contributing significantly to fundraising initiatives. Additionally, experience as a Researcher/Assistant Recruiter at Truenorth Executive Search laid the groundwork for establishing the company's U.S. office and prospecting candidates across various industries. Patrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Wesleyan University and a Master of Library Science from the University at Buffalo.
