Marie-Pierre Bélanger has a strong background in corporate development and strategy. Marie-Pierre started their career at Ernst & Young in 2007, where they completed an audit internship. In 2010, they joined Oliver Wyman as a Consultant and worked their way up to Senior Consultant and Associate roles. During their time at Oliver Wyman, Marie-Pierre was responsible for leading strategy and business transformation projects, specializing in strategic growth and new business design in industries such as energy and transportation. Marie-Pierre demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as expertise in operational effectiveness and cost efficiency. In 2016, Marie-Pierre joined George Weston Limited as a Director of Strategy and Corporate Development. Marie-Pierre was later promoted to Senior Director and most recently held the position of Vice President, responsible for overseeing corporate development and strategy.
Marie-Pierre Bélanger completed their International Baccalaureate in Economics from Jean de Brébeuf from 2003 to 2005. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Art History at McGill University from 2005 to 2009.
