Tammy Cheng

Tammy Cheng has extensive experience in the field of tax, with their most recent role being Senior Director of Tax at George Weston Limited since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as Director of Tax at the same company from April 2021 to January 2023. Before joining George Weston Limited, Tammy worked at Mondelēz International as a Finance Manager of Taxation, where they managed and prepared tax provisions for Canadian subsidiaries. Tammy started at Mondelēz International in October 2011 and worked there until May 2016. Tammy began their career at Ernst & Young, where they held various roles, including Manager of Tax Services and Senior Staff Accountant. Tammy worked at Ernst & Young from September 2005 to October 2011, gaining experience in tax provision audits, corporate tax compliance, and financial statement audits.

Tammy Cheng has a Master of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) degree in Accounting from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Tammy also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Additionally, they have obtained the CPA, CA certification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in November 2008.
