Gema Esteban Garrido

Gema Esteban Garrido, CFA ESG, serves as the Global Head of ESG at IG4 Capital since March 2021, focusing on integrating ESG into investment strategies in emerging markets. Currently advising as an ESG Senior Advisor at Georgeson and holding a position as a Senior Fellow of the ESG Corporate Governance Center at Esade, Gema's expertise extends to board and executive advisory roles on ESG strategies and reporting. Gema has been a member of the Board of Directors at AENZA and previously taught Digital Strategy at Instituto de Empresa. A long-standing career at Telefónica spanned from 2000 to 2021, where Gema led various initiatives including ESG investor relations and digital transformation strategies.
