James Banaski

James Banaski, Jr., MS, MEP, CEM is a seasoned professional in emergency management and public health, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Emergency Management Training & Consulting, LLC since June 2020. As an adjunct instructor at Georgetown University and Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health, James instructs courses on public health preparedness and emergency management. Previous experience includes positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where James served in various leadership roles, including Deputy Branch Chief and Senior Public Health Emergency Management Advisor. With a strong academic background in Environmental Management and Science, James has dedicated over two decades to enhancing emergency response and public health capacity both domestically and internationally.
