Jane Varner Malhotra

Jane Varner Malhotra serves as the Director of Advancement Communications at Georgetown University since September 2014. Previous roles include Board of Directors member for Tenleytown Main Street, where efforts focused on strengthening the community's commercial district, and Founder and Co-chair of Tenley WinterFest, a seasonal festival aimed at building community identity. Jane Varner Malhotra has also worked as a consultant for writing and editing, serving prominent clients such as the National Gallery of Art and the US State Department. Previous experience includes a role as Museum Educator at the National Gallery of Art, Curriculum Developer at the Smithsonian Institution, and Founder and Director of Friends of Young Suffragists. Earlier in the career, Jane Varner Malhotra was Assistant Director at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business Executive Education. Academic credentials include a BA from Dartmouth College in Russian and Art, a semester of language study at St. Petersburg State University, and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University.
