Zahra Ahmad

Zahra Ahmad is a Master's candidate at Georgetown University with a focus on Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management. Currently serving as a Communications Strategist at Earthjustice since November 2022, Zahra also shares expertise as a guest speaker for the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. Zahra's previous experience includes roles as a News Reporter for The Center For Michigan, Environmental and Diversity Reporter, and Education, Elections & DNR Reporter for MLive.com. Zahra's investigative journalism background includes working as an Investigative Reporter for The Flint Journal and serving as a Scottsdale Community Watchdog Reporter at The Arizona Republic. Zahra holds a Master of Laws degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School, where graduation was achieved with honors, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Biology from Central Michigan University.
