Joe Brannen

Joe Brannen has had a distinguished career, serving as President & CEO of the Georgia Bankers Association since 1980, where responsibilities include overseeing operations, government relations, and member services for Georgia's commercial banks and thrift institutions. Prior to this role, Joe served as an Administrative Aide for U.S. Senator Sam Nunn from 1972 to 1980 and managed the bookstore at Georgia Southern University from 1970 to 1972. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a focus on Chemistry from The University of Georgia, earned between 1967 and 1970.
