Public Health Advocate Intern at Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential

Makenzie Friend is an undergraduate student at Mercer University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and Chemical Commerce, expected to graduate in May 2025. As of January 2023, Makenzie has been contributing as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher at Mercer University. Additionally, since August 2022, Makenzie has served as a Public Health Advocate Intern with the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential. In the summer of 2023, Makenzie gained experience as an FFPE Clinical Data Intern at Discovery Life Sciences. Earlier work includes a role as an Assistant Project Manager at PROJECTXYZ, Inc. during the summer of 2021. Educational credentials also include a High School Diploma from Mae Jemison High School and a Medical/Clinical Assistant certification from Calhoun Community College, completed in September 2022.
