Dan Cornejo

Dan Cornejo has extensive experience in pastoral and educational roles within the Seventh-day Adventist community. Currently serving as a Pastor at the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since August 2000, Dan focuses on preaching, teaching, lay training, pastoral care, management, and evangelism. Prior to this, Dan was an Associate Professor at Universidad Peruana Unión from February 1993 to January 2000, where responsibilities included teaching various subjects and coordinating professional practice for theology students. Dan also served as a Distrital Pastor for Mision Peruana del Norte from January 1983 to January 1993, overseeing multiple districts including Sullana and Chiclayo Central. Dan holds a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in International Development from Andrews University and a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Universidad Peruana Unión.

The Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists oversees more than 200 churches, 35 companies, and 39 elementary and high schools located in Georgia, Eastern Tennessee, and Cherokee County in North Carolina. Also within this region are four Adventist hospitals, nine Adventist Community Services Centers, and one Adventist University. There more than 42,600 Seventh-day Adventist members of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference. The conference employs over 400 pastors, teachers, and support staff.
