Sara Gershon

Sara Gershon serves as General Counsel at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, having progressed through roles including Deputy General Counsel and Associate Counsel since May 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and various legal internships, including with the Atlanta Braves and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Educational credentials comprise a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and an M.S. in Sport Management and Policy from the same institution, alongside Bachelor's degrees in English-Creative Writing from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY and The City College of New York.
