Steve Hearn

Steve Hearn has a strong background in account management, marketing, and communications. Steve is currently serving as the Director of Account Management at the Georgia Department of Economic Development since February 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as an Account Director at Marbury Creative Group from April 2013 to February 2020. Steve also has experience as the Owner of The Grand Design Marketing | Communications from 2004 to 2020, and as the Director of Strategic Services at m2M Strategies from February 2012 to May 2013. Before that, they served as the General Manager at Premier Garage in 2004, and as a Partner at Whistle Marketing & Communications from 1998 to 2003. Steve also held positions at E3 Corporation as the Director of Corporate Communications from 1997 to 1998, and at Porter Novelli as a Senior Account Supervisor from 1993 to 1997. Steve began their career at The Disney Channel as a Field Marketing Representative, where they developed marketing strategies, negotiated with cable systems, and trained customer service teams from 1986 to 1992.

Steve Hearn attended the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business from 1982 to 1986. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing.
