James King

James King is a dedicated music educator currently serving as a Music Teacher at the Georgia Department of Education since August 2022. With a background in both music ministry and management, James has previously held roles such as Minister of Music at Sunnyside Baptist Church, where responsibilities included leading worship services and expanding the music ministry. James also has experience in customer service and education, having worked as a Front Office Manager at Coral Hospitality, Front Desk Manager at SureStay By Best Western, and as a substitute teacher in various settings. Additional roles include directing a rifle shooting program for the Boy Scouts of America and serving as a Digital Specialist for the White County Historical Society, where James managed digital archiving and provided museum tours. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Teacher Education from Truett McConnell University.
