Jody Blakley

Jody Blakley currently serves as an Education Program Specialist at the Georgia Department of Education since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jody Blakley was a Special Education Support Specialist at the Department of Juvenile Justice from October 2021 to October 2023. Jody Blakley has extensive experience in education, having worked as an Assistant Principal and Special Education Lead Teacher at DeKalb County School District from August 2006 to October 2021, as well as holding positions as a Special Education Lead Teacher and Special Education Teacher at Clayton County Public Schools from September 1992 to May 2006. In terms of academic qualifications, Jody Blakley holds an Autism Endorsement from Georgia Southwestern State University, an Add On Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from Valdosta State University, a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of West Georgia, a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
