Sunita Holloway

Sunita Holloway is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Outreach Program Manager and ESSA Ombudsman at the Georgia Department of Education, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Holloway was the Director of Federal Programs for the Pickens County School District, overseeing various federal initiatives and programs from July 2016 to June 2021. Additional leadership experience includes roles as Principal/Administrator at Bartow County Board of Education, Director of Title I and Testing at Rome City Schools, and various positions at the same institution, including District Math Coordinator and Assistant Principal. Holloway began a career in education as a teacher at Cartersville City Schools. Holloway holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University and multiple advanced degrees in educational leadership and administration from other institutions.
