Alan Durham

Alan Durham, EDFP, serves as the Manager of the Center for Economic Development Research at the Georgia Institute of Technology's Enterprise Innovation Institute since April 2016. In this role, Alan manages economic development projects across the University System of Georgia, assisting communities with business recruitment, retention, workforce analysis, and the development of entrepreneurship. Alan has extensive experience in economic development, previously holding positions such as President/CEO of the Fayette County Development Authority and Economic Development Director for Gwinnett County Government. Alan's expertise includes fiscal impact analysis, negotiations for corporate incentives, and the creation of economic strategies for various municipalities. Education credentials include a Master's degree in Historic Preservation and Conservation and a Bachelor's degree in History, both from the University of Georgia.
