Undergraduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology

Alfonso Bravo is an aerospace engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, set to graduate in May 2024. Currently serving as a Vehicle Fluids Engineer with the Yellow Jacket Space Program since August 2022, Alfonso's responsibilities include the design, validation, and verification of liquid bi-propellant systems for flight vehicles. Additionally, since August 2023, Alfonso holds a position as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on modal analysis and propellant sloshing under the guidance of Dr. Alvaro Romero-Calvo. Previous experience includes a role as a Rotorcraft Aeromechanics Intern at NASA, where Alfonso conducted rotor blade analysis for an uncrewed wildfire logistics vehicle. Alfonso also founded and led a tutoring program for recently immigrated Venezuelan students during high school.
