Ananda Rao Podilapu

Ananda Rao Podilapu, Ph. D, currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Emory University since May 2023, focusing on the synthesis of novel lipids for mRNA vaccine development. Prior to this role, Ananda held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in carbohydrate chemistry, since September 2019. Ananda also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Rice University from May 2018 to September 2019 and completed doctoral studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where the research concentrated on the synthesis of carbohydrate vaccines, culminating in a Ph.D. in 2018.
