Ben Klassen

Ben Klassen is a graduate research assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology's Visual Analytics Lab, focusing on developing interactive visualizations to enhance understanding of Large Language Models using tools like D3.js, Matplotlib, and Seaborn. Previously, Ben served as a data analyst in marketing at LinkIt!, where data processing and report generation for school districts were emphasized, achieving a sevenfold increase in report production speed through Python automation. Earlier experience includes a data analytics internship at Futurist AI, where sentiment analysis on online product reviews was conducted, and roles at Colby College as both an admissions intern and a teaching assistant. Ben holds a Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Colby College.
