Saeedah Hickman

Saeedah Hickman, Ed.D., currently serves as the Senior Director in the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a position held since September 2022. Previous roles include Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean, and Director II of Administration and Finance at Morehouse School of Medicine, as well as Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance at Stony Brook University. Hickman has also held the position of Senior Director for Research and Sponsored Programs at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, and was a Senior Client Services Administrator at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management from The University of Georgia, a Master's degree in Urban Studies/Public Affairs from Queens College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and International Relations from Stony Brook University.
