Sergio Pelaez

Sergio Pelaez is a PhD student in Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a background in economics and public policy. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant, Sergio has extensive experience as a consultant for organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank and Technopolis Group, where notable contributions included authoring research papers on the economics of innovation and investigating gender inequalities in knowledge-intensive business services. Previous roles include consulting for the World Bank Group and academic positions as a Principal Lecturer and Lecturer Assistant at Universidad del Rosario, focusing on economics and macroeconomic policy.
