Shreya Jha is an undergraduate research assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology since January 2022, contributing to the Medford Research Group in machine learning. Jha gained experience as a data science intern at John Hancock from May to August 2023 and served as a mathematics and computer science tutor at Paper from July 2022 to August 2023, instructing students in advanced mathematics and programming languages such as Java and Python. Previous tutoring experience includes working as a private mathematics tutor at the Russian School of Mathematics from June 2019 to June 2021, where Jha focused on developing analytical and problem-solving skills in students from kindergarten to 11th grade and assisted in event planning for math-related activities. Jha is pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science with a focus on Applied Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in 2025, and is a Franklin High School alumna, graduating in June 2021.
