Troy Hilley

Troy Hilley serves as the Associate Director of IT Architecture & Infrastructure for Academic & Research Computing Services at the Georgia Institute of Technology since May 2006, leading a team focused on automation, integration, and DevOps. Hilley has directed significant projects such as data center migration and virtual infrastructure migration, enhancing operational efficiency. Previous roles include technical lead for the School of Biological Sciences where research operations were improved, IT Manager at the same school overseeing IT operations and implementing open-source solutions, and earlier positions at the University of West Georgia, culminating as Assistant Director of Technology Support for the Richards College of Business. Hilley holds a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science and a BBA in Management Information Systems, both from the University of West Georgia.
