Yunhyeok Im

Yunhyeok Im is a Senior Research Engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology, contributing to the CHIMES program within the JUMP 2.0 initiative since March 2023, focusing on cooling technology for advanced integration systems. Prior to this role, Yunhyeok Im spent over two decades at Samsung Electronics, attaining positions from Engineer to Principal Engineer, leading projects related to thermal management in advanced packaging technologies. Earlier experience includes a Visiting Scholar position at Georgia Institute of Technology, where research on nanostructures resulted in significant citations, and military service as a Lieutenant in the Republic of Korea Air Force, overseeing personnel training and management. Yunhyeok Im holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanics and Design from Kookmin University.
