Andrea Smalls

Andrea Smalls has extensive work experience in event operations and management. Andrea began their career as the Event Services Manager at the City of College Park in 1993, where they supervised and executed various projects and events. During their time there, they also oversaw in-house third-party vendors and worked closely with municipal leaders and departments. In 2000, they joined the Georgia International Convention Center as the Director of Event Services. In this role, they launched and supervised the facility's Event Services Department, implemented new customer-focused security measures, and developed positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors. Andrea was later promoted to the position of Director of Event Operations, where they developed continuity and emergency plans for the convention center and provided day-to-day oversight of multiple operational departments.
