Marcia Rubensohn

Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Counsel at Georgia Municipal Association

Marcia Rubensohn has extensive work experience in the legal and legislative field. Marcia started their career as an attorney at the Georgia Senate Research Office in January 2002 and worked there until October 2005. Their role at the office was focused on legal research and analysis. In November 2005, they joined the Georgia Municipal Association as the Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Counsel, a position they currently hold. In this role, they are responsible for providing legal counsel and guidance on legislative and regulatory matters.

Marcia Rubensohn completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish at Emory University from 1993 to 1997. Marcia then pursued their Juris Doctor (JD) degree at Emory University School of Law from 1999 to 2001.
