Meredith Lester

Meredith Lester has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2004, they founded and managed their own event planning company, Meredith's Elegant Events. In 2004, they also worked as an Office Manager at AeroDYN Discovery Centers/Ten80 Education until 2010. In 2009, they joined the Dooly County Board of Education as an Executive Assistant. Subsequently, in 2014, they became Vice Chair at the Unadilla Downtown Development Authority. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Public Relations at Dooly County Schools. Additionally, since 2010, they have served as Mayor Pro Tem at the City of Unadilla. Finally, they assumed the role of President District 8 at the Georgia Municipal Association in 2016.
