Chris McDaniel

Chris McDaniel has a diverse work experience in the field of directing and technical directing. Chris began their career in 2004 at The Weather Channel, where they served as a Director 2 and worked on various shows, including the first climate talk show. Chris collaborated with producers and crew members to present content in an engaging way for live programming and also directed external network hits with major news channels.

Since then, Chris has held roles as a Technical Director at Live Media Group, LLC in 2021, as well as Director/TD positions at Narrow Path Productions, Georgia State University, FloSports, Paramount Event Group, and CW Atlanta TV WUPA-TV in recent years.

Chris'sexperience also includes working as a Director & Technical Director at Georgia Public Broadcasting, where they oversaw various projects related to GHSA Football Fridays, the GHSA Championships, GPB's "Lawmakers," and the GHSA Championship Basketball Tournament.

From 2016 to 2020, Chris worked as a Technical Director at FOX Sports, and from 2017 to 2018, they served as a Technical Director at AMB Sports + Entertainment. Overall, Chris McDaniel has a strong background in directing and technical directing, with experience in live programming, news coverage, and sports broadcasting.

Chris McDaniel attended American InterContinental University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media Production.
