Laura Evans, Ed.S has a diverse range of work experience. Laura started their career as a Public Relations Intern at the Georgia Museum of Art and later joined Duffy Communications in the same role. Laura then transitioned to a full-time position as an Account Executive at The GEM Group. Following this, Laura worked as a Language Arts Teacher at Loganville Middle School for three years. Laura then moved on to become an English and Journalism Teacher at Loganville High School for eight years. After their work in the education field, Laura assumed the role of Instructional Learning Manager at the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Education at Georgia Public Broadcasting.

Laura Evans, Ed.S has a comprehensive education history. Laura obtained their Bachelor of Journalism (ABJ) degree in Public Relations from The University of Georgia in 1999. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Education from Piedmont University from 2002 to 2004. Later, they furthered their studies at Piedmont College and completed their Ed.S degree in Curriculum and Instruction from 2004 to 2007.
