Marylynn Ryan has a extensive work experience in the field of news production and management. Marylynn has held various positions at different companies throughout their career. Marylynn has worked as the Vice President of the News Division at Georgia Public Broadcasting where they oversaw the production of daily newscasts and collaborated with NPR and PBS. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President and CNN Southeast Bureau Chief at CNN, where they managed reporters and producers covering news in the Southeast region of the United States. Marylynn also played a key role in overseeing the coverage of major hurricanes during their time there. Before that, they were the Managing Editor of CNN Domestic Newsroom, where they ran daily editorial meetings and set the agenda for the network's news programs. Marylynn also worked as the Deputy Managing Editor at CNN Headline News, where they contributed to the network's relaunch and helped build the show teams. Marylynn has also held positions at CNN, including Executive Producer of CNN News Site and Executive Producer of CNN Streetsweep, a show broadcast live from the New York Stock Exchange. Marylynn Ryan began their career as an Executive Producer at WJW-TV and WKYC Studios. Marylynn has a strong background in news production and editorial management.
