Danetha Belk

Danetha Belk serves as the Executive Director of Operations at Georgia Quick Start, overseeing a dynamic team and optimizing business processes to enhance training services for qualified companies. Prior to this role, Danetha held various positions at the Georgia Department of Economic Development from October 2007 to March 2023, including Director of Operations for Global Commerce, where responsibilities included managing budgets and strategizing marketing initiatives. Danetha also coordinated significant trade events as Manager of Global Commerce Events and Partnerships and promoted the Global Commerce team's mission in community engagement as Client, Community, and Partner Relations Manager. Earlier experience includes supervising the Property Tax department at Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner's Office and supporting small business growth as an Associate Project Manager. Danetha holds an MPA in Public Administration from The University of Georgia and a BS in Business Administration and Political Science from Presbyterian College.
