Deedee Southerlin

Deedee Southerlin, Ed.D., CPP, RBLP-C, serves as the Director of the Division of Continuing and Professional Education at Georgia Southern University since August 2017, bringing over 20 years of experience in educational program management, strategic planning, and curriculum development. Deedee also teaches a master’s level course in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning at Georgia Southern University and has held various leadership roles in educational institutions, including Interim Director and Professional Development Manager. Previous positions include roles at Ogeechee Technical College, the Technical College System of Georgia, and Corrections Corp of America, demonstrating a comprehensive background in workforce development, program coordination, and education management. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Education in Adult and Career Education, a Master of Science in Sociology, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, all from Valdosta State University.
