Russell Sites

Russell Sites has a diverse work experience in the financial and audit industries. Russell began their career at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where they worked as an Audit Assistant from September 2009 to August 2011, and later as an Audit Senior from September 2011 to May 2013.

In 2013, Russell joined Cox Enterprises as a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting, where they worked for three years until February 2016.

Currently, Russell is employed at Georgia System Operations Corporation, where they have held multiple positions. Russell started as a Senior Internal Auditor in February 2016 and later became an Audit Project Manager in November 2020.

Throughout their career, Russell has gained valuable experience in audit, risk management, financial reporting, and project management.

Russell Sites completed their education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. From 2006 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Subsequently, they enrolled in the Master of Accountancy program at the same university, specializing in Auditing, and completed it from 2008 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Russell Sites obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Georgia State Board of Accountancy in February 2011. Furthermore, they received the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in October 2021.
