Steve Kaiser

Steve Kaiser has a diverse range of work experience with various companies. Steve currently works as a Business Applications Consultant at Georgia System Operations Corporation since 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) at CAN Capital from 2016 to 2017. In this role, they led the transition of the organization from a Technology Project Management Office to an Enterprise Project Management Office, and successfully delivered 17 significant projects. Steve also managed a team of 9 Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts.

Earlier in their career, Steve was the Vice President of Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPMO) at the American Cancer Society from 2013 to 2016. Steve significantly increased the PMO's productivity by reorganizing multiple project management groups, implementing best practices, and instituting weekly enterprise-wide project status reporting. Steve saved $100k in annual budget, increased project execution rates, and collaborated with various departments to negotiate contract terms.

Before their role at the American Cancer Society, Steve served as the VP of Financial Systems and Financial Systems Director & Analyst. In these roles, they reorganized and managed teams, streamlined processes, and integrated finance-related IT services with corporate processes.

Earlier in their career, Steve worked as a Financial Applications Consultant at Lawson Software and as a General Ledger Supervisor at IXC Communications.

Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated their expertise in project management, organizational leadership, and strategic planning.

Steve Kaiser earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Lubar College of Business, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. In addition, they obtained certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in July 2016.
