Jeff Brogdon, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on system protection in the electrical power industry. Currently serving as Manager for System Protection at Georgia Transmission Corporation since May 2008, Jeff manages the engineering staff responsible for short circuit studies, protective relay settings, and the development of design drawings for transmission substations. Previous roles include System Protection Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed compliance with NERC standards, performance analyses, and relay design development, as well as Relay and Control Engineer, focusing on protection and control design packages for substations. Jeff's early career includes an internship as a Verification Engineer at ARRIS, where test plans for video technologies were developed. Jeff holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MA in Theological Studies from Liberty University.
