Kakha Maisashvili

Kakha Maisashvili possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Substations Division within the International Project Planning and Supervision Department at Georgian State Electrosystem since June 2015. This role involves supervising the construction of new substations and the development of the power network. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Engineer and Engineer at Georgian State Electrosystem, where responsibilities encompassed the inspection of power faults and ensuring safety standards. Kakha also has experience as a trainee in both the Projects Department of Georgian State Electrosystem and in hydro power plants owned by Georgian Water & Power LTD, as well as working as a Power Engineer on the construction of the Hydro power plant "Alazani 2." Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Energy and Telecommunication, a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and a Bachelor's Degree in Construction and Management of Hydro Power Plants, all from Georgian Technical University.
